CONCEPT 01 · BRAND PARTNERSHIP
Rouje × Manucurist
One palette, two brands
Everyone wants the Parisian cool-girl look: the kind of effortless that’s notoriously hard to fake without looking like you’re trying. Rouje has become the quintessential brand for that aesthetic on the clothing side; Manucurist owns the same idea for hands, high-maintenance results with low-maintenance effort.
This collaboration: a three-shade Manucurist capsule pulled directly from Rouje’s most recognisable colour moments. The campaign doesn’t need much invention. Hands and outfit, shot together, in the same palette, every time. The colour story does the work.
It’s a low-lift, high-affinity partnership: neither brand has to compromise its identity, and the shared palette gives both an easy reason to cross-promote to an audience that already follows them both.
Rouje and Manucurist are both scaling as global brands, and the US is one of the biggest growth markets for each of them right now. Rouje has opened its first US flagship in SoHo and named the US one of its three core markets, alongside France and the UK.1 Manucurist’s US revenue has gone from $100K in 2021 to a projected $30M this year,2 making it the fastest-growing nail brand in the country. A shared-palette capsule launched now captures both brands at the exact moment they’re becoming worldwide names, not just Parisian ones.

The palette
Each shade keeps its name in French, the way both brands already speak to their customer, but leans on words English speakers already recognise: rouge, cerise, rose. It reads authentically Parisian at home, and still translates instantly for the growing North American audience. No glossary required.
